Rhythm Rug

"Warm, savory and bitter spices shine through in this Old Pal variation that takes inspiration from the flavors of Persian tea. Rhum JM VSOP is the savory rich agricole base that complements the warm baking-spice flavors of cardamom, saffron, and cinnamon found in Amaro Della Sacra and Strega. Singani 63, an un-aged Bolivian grape brandy, adds a subtle floral undertone. The name of the drink—a nod to A Tribe Called Quest’s seminal “Can I Kick It?”—fuses my love for dark, bitter, and boozy cocktails with 90’s hip-hop." —AA

1¼ ounces Rhum J.M. VSOP rhum agricole
¼ ounce Singani 63 brandy
¾ ounce Dolin dry vermouth
½ ounce Antica Torino Amaro Della Sacra
½ teaspoon Strega liqueur
