Bimini Bartender Balm is what happens when a distillery solves a back-of-house problem—and ends up creating a hand lotion for anyone whose hands work hard.

After two years of R&D, our friends at Bimini Gin created a lotion that meets the needs of service workers and anyone who’s constantly washing their hands: fast-absorbing, dry to the touch, deeply moisturizing, and soothing on overworked skin. In addition to the naturally protective qualities of coconut oil, Bimini Bartender Balm layers in aloe vera to calm redness and zinc oxide to help reduce inflammation and create a clean, dry finish.

What's more, the product was designed with sustainability in mind. During production of Bimini Coconut Gin, the team fat-washes the spirit with organic, Fair Trade Certified extra-virgin coconut oil. Once the process is complete, the leftover coconut oil is infused with the beautiful aromatics of gin botanicals. Rather than waste it, the folks at Bimini started figured out how to up-cycle this gin-scented coconut oil into something genuinely useful. There’s no added fragrance—just the subtle scent of Bimini Gin as you apply it, which dissipates quickly so it won’t interfere with making cocktails, cooking, or daily life.

Like their spirits, Bimini makes and bottles Bartender’s Balm themselves in small batches at their distillery in Biddeford, Maine. The vegan, paraben-free formula is packaged in a bottle made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic that’s designed to be washed and reused or recycled when empty.
