And while it’s earned a reputation as a party drink, the best Espresso Martinis deliver the rich flavor of freshly brewed coffee, balanced by sweetness and a backbone of clean, cold vodka. When shaken properly, the drink forms a luscious foam cap that softens the first sip and draws you into the next. It's no surprise, then, that the Espresso Martini is the most-ordered off-the-menu cocktail at all Death & Co locations: last year alone, we made more than 15,000 of these invigorating drinks for our guests. 

Made in collaboration with Jack Rudy Cocktail Co., our new coffee syrup was designed for creating the ideal Espresso Martini experience at home, delivering concentrated coffee flavor with the structure and sweetness dialed in—all you need is vodka, ice, and a good shake.

The coffee syrup starts with Nightfall cold brew concentrate from Captain + Stoker, a beloved roaster based in Monterey, CA. The concentrate is made from a blend of Ethiopian and Brazilian beans, which brings flavors of stone fruit, baker's chocolate and apricot. Sweetened with cane sugar and a hint of vanilla, the syrup is the ideal base for Espresso Martinis or coffee-flavored cocktails, and the concentrated formula is also great in blended drinks, NA beverages, drizzled over ice cream, or as a sweetener for your morning coffee.
